Wild WhyPark Widgets

A widget is a self contained little piece of code that adds some functionality to your website. It can be a clock, a poll, hot products from Amazon.com, or anything similar. Widgets are typically made with Adobe Flash or Javascript, but that doesn't much matter because all you have to do to use one is copy and paste the code provided into the html of your web page.

Here's a widget from Widget Wonk which gives the latest posts on the Widget Wonk blog. Widget Wonk is just one of several Widget blogs I read so I can learn about new widget tools and applications. Coincidentally, Suonim from Widget Wonk is a fellow WhyPark admirer. Check them out, its a good site and a good read.

Widget Box has a great selection of widgets that can be easily pasted into a WhyPark page and/or layout.
