Need something to show up at the absolute bottom of your template?

Sometimes you just can't get your WhyPark layout quite the way you want it. Sometimes you want to be able to put links at the very bottom of the page. Sometimes you might want to throw a few keywords at the very bottom because you think it will help you do better in the search engines. But no matter how you monkey with your WhyPark template, you just can't seem to accomplish it. Here's how to do it.

This is not a real obvious solution. I mean, you're working with your template, so items you want to appear at the very bottom of your template should go in the the Page Layout box on the Layout page right? WRONG! To accomplish this, we need to go to the Edit page where we edit the your site's settings. On that page there is a Stats Code box for what ever statistical tracking application you're using (like Google Analytics perhaps). You can put other HTML in that box in addition to your stats code and have it show up at the very bottom of every page of your site.

Beware however that stuff entered in this box is not wrapped in any block level tags (like div, td, or p tags) so if you simply enter text or inline tags (like a or span tags), they WILL NOT SHOW UP!
